Canadian artist Donna Mulholland is contemporary rug hooker, working in an expressive and freeform style. The pieces in this series are hooked primarily in wool yarn, jersey and sari silk.
A creative explorer by nature, Donna uses bold colour to create works that invite you to happy places. She works primarily in fibre, acrylic and collage. Her work can be found in private collections across North America, Europe and Oceania and was most recently shown at the University of New Brunswick Art Centre. She lives in beautiful Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada with her family.
